Annotation:

The article examines the role of key economic sectors of the regions of the Republic of Tajikistan in the development of transport and logistics freight flows. Particular attention is paid to the impact of agriculture, industry, mining and the service sector on the volume, structure and direction of cargo transportation. It is shown that the sectoral specialization of regions has a direct influence on the spatial organization of freight flows and the efficiency of the transport and logistics system. Based on the analysis of economic indicators, the necessity of considering sectoral factors in planning and developing regional transport and logistics infrastructure is substantiated.
