Annotation:

The article discusses the issues of improving the efficiency of transport services to the population of the city of Dushanbe. The purpose of the study is to identify the main directions and measures to improve the functioning of public transport in the context of growing demand for transport services. In the course of the research, methods of economic, statistical, comparative and systematic analysis were used, technical and operational indicators of transport, the economic efficiency of passenger transportation, the actual fare on an electric bus and the forecast of passenger traffic volume were evaluated. The results of the study showed that improving traffic management, modernizing the public transport fleet, using electric buses, introducing digital technologies and intelligent control systems can help improve the quality of service and the efficiency of the industry. Based on the results obtained, practical proposals for the sustainable development of the urban transport system in Dushanbe have been developed.
