This article examines the current state of the metallurgical industry, especially in the field of rare metal mining and processing in the country, its sources and prospects for economic development. In today's world, digital technologies are developing rapidly, the transition to a green economy continues, demand for petroleum products is declining, and rare metals are taking their place. Fortunately, a golden era is beginning for Tajikistan, as our subsoil is estimated to contain rich reserves of such metals. Undoubtedly, in the modern world there is a huge need for the metallurgical industry, and the development of this industry can make a signifi cant contribution to the national economy.
