Annotation:

The article examines the role of republican highways in the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan. The theoretical foundations of the impact of transport infrastructure on economic growth are analyzed, the current state of the national road network is assessed, and key directions of its influence on trade, investment activity, agriculture, and regional integration are identified. Based on statistical data and regulatory documents, the necessity of further modernization of road infrastructure as a strategic factor of sustainable economic development is substantiated.
