This article examines the financial condition of construction companies in the Republic of Tajikistan. The relevance of the study is determined by the industry-specific characteristics of the construction industry, including high capital intensity of projects, long production cycles, seasonality of work, and significant dependence on external sources of financing, which reinforces the role of managing settlement relationships between counterparties. The paper analyzes scientific approaches to interpreting the concept of "financial condition of an enterprise" as an economic category. Particular attention is paid to analyzing the financial condition through the state of settlements with debtors and creditors, reflecting the current solvency and financial burden of construction companies. Indicators of their structure and correlation are calculated and analyzed, allowing us to assess the degree of sustainability of settlement processes and the level of financial dependence of enterprises on external financing. Additionally, the significant role of remittances from labor migrants is noted as a key external source of financial resources in the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan, influencing the liquidity and solvency of business entities, including construction companies. The results of the study can be used in developing measures to improve the sustainability and effectiveness of financial management in the construction industry.
