This article examines improving the accuracy of temperature stabilization in internal combustion engines (ICE) under variable load conditions. Traditional PID controllers often struggle to cope with the high inertia of cooling systems and the nonlinearity of thermal processes. The author proposes a control algorithm based on fuzzy logic (Fuzzy Logic) that enables adaptive control of actuator performance (electric pump and fan). The fuzzy controller structure is developed, membership functions are selected, and a rule base is generated. The proposed controller reduces the time it takes the engine to reach operating temperature and minimizes coolant temperature fluctuations, leading to reduced mechanical wear and fuel consumption.
