This paper, using an analytical expression for the thermal conductivity coefficient λ(ω), derived within the framework of the previously developed molecular kinetic theory of electrolyte solutions and taking into account the contribution of structural and translational relaxations in solutions, and the generalized potential of intermolecular interaction formulated by the authors, investigates the dependence of the thermal conductivity coefficients of aqueous electrolyte solutions on temperature and density. It is shown that the integrated consideration of ion-ion, ion-dipole and dipole-dipole interactions in the intermolecular interaction potential (|r |) ab and the equilibrium radial distribution function g (|r |) ab significantly improves the agreement between theoretical calculations of the dependence of the thermal conductivity coefficient () for aqueous solutions of KCl, NaCl, KBr and CsCl on density and temperature with experimental data.
Keywords: thermal conductivity coefficient, potential of intermolecular interaction, radial distribution function.
