This article examines the role of the construction industry in job creation and ensuring the economic security of Tajikistan's regions. It explores the importance of construction in reducing unemployment, limiting migration flows, and stimulating regional economic growth. Using statistical data, a comparative analysis of the construction sector's contribution to GDP and employment by region for 2023– 2024 was conducted. It was established that construction plays a key role in job creation, particularly in Dushanbe and the Khatlon region, where large-scale infrastructure projects are being implemented, significantly impacting the socioeconomic development of the regions. The scientific novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive assessment of the construction sector as a tool for ensuring the economic security of Tajikistan's regions through the lens of employment, migration, and social and labor processes. The results confirm that construction is a systemically important element of regional development, capable of not only creating jobs but also strengthening the socioeconomic stability of the state. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of applying the obtained conclusions in the development and implementation of state policy in the field of employment, regional development and investment planning, as well as in improving the mechanisms for regulating wages and stimulating labor activity in the construction industry.
