In Tajikistan's mountainous regions, access to centralized energy is limited, leading to the widespread use of traditional stovessimple and inexpensive, but inefficient and environmentally harmful. Their use results in excessive fuel consumption, forest degradation, indoor air pollution, and negative impacts on the health of the rural population, especially women and children. These emerging problems require the search for environmentally friendly, energy-efficient solutions to improve living standards and protect the environment. The development and implementation of an energy-efficient metal stove based on new design solutions can reduce fuel consumption, reduce harmful emissions, improve energy efficiency, and provide comfortable conditions for rural households. Modernized stoves were manufactured at the Tajikhydroagregat plant, and practical testing of them under real-life conditions was conducted in schools and jamoats of the Varzob district. The developed modernized stove demonstrated significant advantages over a traditional stove in terms of reduced fuel consumption. Using an energy-efficient stove reduces fuel consumption and harmful emissions. Experimental data confirmed the effectiveness of the design solutions, making it suitable for use in rural areas.
